As usual, most limited gunpla are clear colour kits. I am not a fan of gunpla that are completely in clear colour, so that's ok for me. Most gunpla kits sold in the event are quite expensive because they are sold by Toys 'R Us. Therefore unless one is wanting to get those limited gunpla (Exia R2 Metallic Coating ver. seems to be quite popular), I would recommend buying gunpla in local model shops instead ^^;
The event will end on 3rd August (Tuesday).

o.O wasnt the MS Igloo kits an online limited release?
ReplyDelete@ AstrayP03 (Zhe):
ReplyDeleteThe MS Igloo kits are supposed to be online shops only or something like that, but I do see them appear in local shops now and then. Compared to other limited kits they are not so uncommon.
that clear colored plastic Gundam is out of this world.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see that is HKD and not USD or that would be crazy prices!
@ Bluedrakon:
ReplyDeleteClear colour gunpla are always (if not usually) limited kits. Luckily I am not into full clear colour plastic kits so they are a natural miss for me.
These kits are already quite expensive in HKD as they are sold by Toys 'R Us. No one would buy them if they are in USD, lol!
wait, wait a sec... Mecha Girl kits!!??!!
ReplyDelete*takes a closer look*
Looking kinda doll-like there. *phew*
A Mecha girl kit (preferably one based off the Mika Akitaka stuff) is one of my grails. but I'm not sure if these meet the criteria.
TV2 and Strike freedom girls look kinda cool tho. And is it a bad thing that I work out who they are supposed to be based on the MS serial numbers on the back?
@ gundamjehutykai:
ReplyDeleteAh you must be commenting on the one picture I've posted on the Part 1 coverage.
From what I've skimmed they look more like normal garage kits than being doll-like, but I didn't really looked at them long enough to see the details.
